Where is Cardigan

Relative Location: Cardigan mountain is located 1.85miles northwest from the summit of the mountain, it is also 30.57 miles northwest from hmhs and is around 35 miles from my house 96 elizabeth lane.

Absolute Location: Cardigan mountain Amc Lodge is located at 43.64.95 north and 71.81.71 west its elevation is about 3155 ft high.

Description of Cardigan

Cardigan is a 3,155-foot tall mountain with the top an obvious slab of rock with a smooth, hill-like appearance that contains various levels of trees. There are firs and white pines along, with the last 500-1000ft being exempt from the tree line due to a massive fire that happened. At the top, various stopping points have views of the valley along with alpine grass that adds a bit of spark to the scene.

The cultural description of cardigan includes a fire tower that has 3 levels and offers good views of the valley. Around 1.8 miles away is a rustic lodge with lots of solar panels that has a trail that leads to an old stone building. In the opposite direction is an old car used for a ski lift that is up a meadow with lots of stone walls. There is a dirt road that leads into town and a lake in front of the lodge that has a dock.
