Where is Cardigan?

Relative Location

Mount Cardigan is about 42 miles north of Hopkinton. It is near Firescrew and the AMC lodge. It is also about 4.6 miles away from the town of Orange and 6 miles away from newfound lake.

Absolute Location

Cardigan is located at 43 degrees 38 minutes 58 seconds N and 71 degrees 54 minutes 51 seconds W.

Cultural Geography

There are many examples of cultural geography at cardigan. Cardigan mountain has many awesome trails, all over the place. The AMC lodge also has good food, we had spaghetti, burgers, corn, and salad. But that was just for dinner! Everyone at cardigan spoke English, though some probably knew a few words from another language. That is about all of the cultural geography of cardigan.

Physical Geography

Cardigan has many examples of physical geography. One, is Cardigan mountain. It is huge with roughly a 3,145 foot summit and that summit is bare rock. There are many trees all over the mountain and around the lodge. Not to mention the rivers. There are tons, many along the trail to Welton Falls. One even creates Welton Falls.That is about all of the physical geography of cardigan.
