Sebtember 28 - 30 - 2022 AMC Cardigan Lodge is in Alexandria, New Hampshire on a 1,200 acre reservation next to the 5,000 acre Mount Cardigan State Forest. It is west of Newfound Lake. The AMC Lodgel pond is: Latitude 43 degrees 38 minutes 36.9 seconds N longitude 71 degrees 52 minutes 4.30 seconds N Elevation 1,400 feet. In the Shem Valley, Cardigan Mountain is 3,121 feet high with a granite topped summit. It can be accessed by the West Ridge trail. From the top, on a clear day, hikers can see Mount Monadnock and the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Camel's Hump in Vermont and Pleasant Mountain in Maine.
