Location of Cardigan Relative Location:

Cardigan is North North West of hopkinton and about 33 miles away in a straight line not including going on roads.If you were to go on roads it would be a little over an hour and it would be about 45 miles all back roads. From lebanon It is east and about 25 miles in a straight line with no roads.

Absolute Location:

Mt Cardigan is N:43 degrees, 38’, 34.79”. West it is 071 degrees 54’ 30.59” It is NNW (north north west) of Hopkinton NH It is 1 hour and 2 minutes and 45 miles using roads. The way that I got my coordinates is when I got to the top of the mountain I took down coordinates and the way that I got the direction (NNW) went online to google earth pro and it showed me the compass direction.

Place of Cardigan:

Physical description

At cardigan we saw animals such as squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and turkey. There were a lot of trees at the base of Mt Cardigan and up high there are very few trees.On the roads it is dirt and rocky and the trails are clean and well maintained. It is very forestry.

Cultural description

At cardigan there are people from all over the world but there werent many people. There was only the 7th graders the teachers, counclers and instructors. There was a little bit of hikers but they didnt go ingto the lodge. We pasted a little people on the trails only once in a while.
