Cardigan Mountain is located 42.3 miles away and in the town of Alexandria. Past Newfound lake and drive down a long dirt road and you are there. The latitude is 43 degrees 38’59’’N and the longitude is 71 degrees 52’40’’W. When you get to the top of MT. Cardigan you will see big rocks and a fire tower. If you really look around you will see a coin in the rock. As you walk down the mountain you will see big trees, rocks, roots, and lots and lots of water.
Movement On day 3 at Mt. Cardigan. As we climb up Mt.fire screw and pass trees, rocks and boulders I see a Glacial Erratic boulder that a glacier moved here from Canada. As I look at it I see all sorts of types of moss like lichen and tree moss. When it's time to go I take one good last look at it and see it sitting there as it has been for the last thousand years and as I walk off and disappear into the cold wind and mist.
