Cardigan is a great hike for an outdoors person, but where is it? The absolute location of Cardigan, which is exactly where it is. Latitude 43 degrees 38 minutes 59.12 seconds and longitude 071 degrees 52 minutes 40.59 seconds. The Relative location of the Cardigan is based on things around it to find where it is. Orange is a town South-West about and about 1 miles to the peak. The Amc lodge is South-East 100 degreeas and around 2 miles to the peak. Firescrew summit is a half mile north east of the Cardigan peak. Bristle is a town and is also south east of the peak.

Place, Cultural: Cultural geography is the things brought, made, and thought. Some of the things humans brought which weren’t native to the cardigan environment are apple trees, Scotch Pine (brought from Scotland). Man-made things that benefit humans were ski trails, planks on trails to keep mud from getting on shoes, the AMC lodge ( with metal roofing). Also, a part of cultural geography can be the old rusty car near the big anthill and maple tree, the campsites, bear boxes, bridges, cairns, stone walls, fire towers, porta potties can also be it as well.

Place, Physical: Physical geography has different natural characteristics of the area. The alpine bog on Firescrew, The Cave-like waterfall, the Cardigan rock peak, The Forest, The streams and rivers, are all examples of this. The rainy and bad weather on session two and the blue skies on session one. Glacial erratics, the wildlife (birds, salamanders, deer, bears, moles, and more) moss and likens, mud, wild cucumber.
