On this trip we went on a bus and then went tide pooling. We also played wiffle ball. Next I ate my lunch and pick up all the trash. We then got back on the bus and got ice cream.
Tides occur because the moons gravity pulls the water out and when the earth moves that lump moves with it. There is also a lump on the other side of the earth that the moon is pushing out. the tides move in and out every 6 hours.
At odiorne there are four zones. The first one is the black zone which is the top zone and is black. The second zone is the white zone which is one of the middle zones and has white barnacles. The Third zone is the brown zone which has plants in between the rocks and is the other middle zone. The final zone is called the red zone which also has plants between the rock and is the bottom zone.
There were cool things at odiorne and lots of amazing animals. I saw a Daisy brittle star and It was cool to see it move. I also saw its relative the sea urchin and the urchin was fun to hold because it was trying to flip over. I also saw and touched the drowend forest and now I have touched somthing that won’t be there in a couple years.
