The Great Waddleing Ducks Cardigan Mountain Trip

Three weeks ago when we went to Cardigan in the town of Alexandria, New Hampshire we visited the AMC lodge at 43 degrees, 38 minutes, 58 seconds North and 71 degrees 52 minutes, 40 seconds West, according to google Earth the lodge is three miles away from the mountain itself while The Summit of Fire screw is around 2.4 miles hike from AMC Lodge. The summit of Cardigan is close to the AMC lodge but it is actually located in Orange, New Hampshire . The AMC lodge is on the outskirts of the town orange. To be specific it is east of Orange NH. It is also south of Granton NH. If you start your journey to Cardigan from Hopkinton NH you will travel north to get to the AMC lodge which is about a 45 minute drive.
Phyiscal Loction
Cardigan was a beautiful place. The streams were so perfect, it was the most calming thing to sit there in silence and listen to the stream flow and crash against the rocks. The brookes look like they are not real. Rocks in the water waiting to be fully eroded away. The mushrooms were in all sizes,big and small. There are birds flying free around in the sky. Some days it rains so much that the streams are overflowing so much they can be mistaken for a river. chipmunks and squirrels playing in the trees.
Cultural Location
Skiing trails waiting to be used. Scotch trees hanging higher than the clouds. Apple trees planted and growing out of the dirt. fire towers hoping to not be needed. Trail marks on the trees but
being careful to not harm the trees.cabins ready to be slept in at the summit. Cairns built like a building as high as the trees. The view is more beautiful than anything you've ever seen before. Bridges made and ready to be crossed.
We were there for three days, wednesday day 1, Thursday day 2 , and friday day 3 .
