WHERE is Cardigan?
Cardigan Mountain is located North-west of Hopkinton and everything IN Hopkinton. The exact location of Cardigan is N 43 degrees 40 minutes 17 seconds W 71 degrees 54 minutes 63 seconds the elevation is 3155 ft. Cardigan is about 47 miles away from Hopkinton.
Cultural
Cardigan has three sets of large solar panels in the front of the dirt road. Cardigan has dozens of trails near and in the mountain. The tippy top of the mountain is the best part! You can also sign your name on the tower. Near the top of the mountain there are big rocks stacked on top of each other to make a sort of trail maker.
Physical
There are lots of Physical things at Cardigan, the thousands of trees that look like little specks of green from the top. At the top of the mountain there was a crust of rock covering the top so not that many trees there.
I was there for 2 days, on day 1 My group hiked up a trail called "the back 80". On day 2 we hiked up Cardigan and saw the great view! On day 3 I was not there.
