We went on a field trip with 2 buses. We did tidepooling, played wiffle ball, and football. When we left, we got ice cream and went back to school.

Both tides are caused by the Moon. The Moon uses gravity to pull the water when it rotates around the Earth.

The spray zone is a zone that is damped by storms and mists of water. The high intertidal zone is home to small animals like barnacles and crabs. And mostly stays dry in between high tides. The middle intertidal zone is home to anemones and sea stars, and tons of plants. It is dry on low tide and wet on high tide. And the low intertidal zone is a zone that is almost always underwater nomatter what the tide is.

What I saw were lots of seagals and moss. But I also saw crabs, snails, seaweed and fish. But the coolest thing I saw was a tie. (Literly) Mr. Woolner not wearing a tie and the drowned forest. Another cool thing I had to look for was my lost wiffle ball. One of my class mates hit the ball into the forest and found beer bottles while looking for the ball.

WHERE is there the most variety, and WHY do you think this is?

Other than the ocean, it hast to be the rocks right above low tide. Also known as the red zone. Thats the best place to look for little creatues. And it definitly has the most varity. There is lots of small fish, crabs, star fish, kelp, urchins, baby lobsters and other small creatures.
