On the first day, the Theme of Geography was Movement. Movement is when objects, ideas, or people are moved. It was movement because there was movement of the clothespin. We played a game called "hide the clothespin" where we had to hide the clothespin on somebody. When they find it, they got to hid it on someone else.
We started by getting on the bus, and going to the AMC lodge. We got into groups and learned each other's names, what food truck we would have, and other things about each other. My group went on the Back 80 trail, and we did some activities including but not limited to; Peanut Butter River and a "hide the clothespin" game. We saw Cellar Hole, Welton Falls, and ate lunch on the sand near the waterfall. I had yogurt, energy balls, oreos, grapes, and cucumbers for lunch. And some sand, thanks to the breeze. I also got splashed with water by Nick trying to make a carin on a log right near the river. Jacob and Nick started barking at people, and Meara, our group leader, had to tell them to stop. On the way back on the bus, I played Hangman with Rose, Veronica, and Lucy. We got off the bus, and went straight home and went to bed.
