We saw the AMC lodge and met with our guide. We did an activity with trees and looked at a white pine. We also saw a sugar maple and an old car whose engine was used to power an old ski lift. I sketched the car then we walked back and had lunch under that same big sugar maple. We then walked the nature walk and played a tree biding game, then walked back to the lodge. On our way back, I saw lots of hills and powerlines, as well as what I believe was Newfound Lake.
On day three we did a tree scavenger hunt and when we reached the end, there was an old car, which has lots to do with the theme Human Environment Interactions. The car's engine was used to power a ski lift back in the day. My group attempted to fix parts of the car. (It didn’t work) We also climbed lots of bridges on the nature walk that we did which were probably built by people who work for AMC.
