The whole seventh grade recently took a field trip to odiorne point. we started off by taking taking buses early in the moring right after we got to school. The teachers said what buses we would be on I was on bus two with a couple of my friends it was a not a very fun ride with all the bumps and red lights. Once we got to odiorne I started off by getting off the bus and walking down to the benchs and start tidepooling. after tidepoling i started playing football and that is what i did for the rest of the day until I got on the bus and went to the ice cream place and after we ended up back at the school.
Why tides occur has to do with the moon. an the way the earth has to boundaries on either side of the earth to make the tides Also the gravitational pull affects the way of the tides going high and low
the four zones are the dry zone, black, white, brown and red and sub tidal up by the land and benchs and stuff like the beach with the sand. The next zone is black zone which has Cyanobacteria which makes rocks super slippery when it is wet. The white zone is when you start to see tidepools. Brown zone is when tide pools are insanely common. The red zone is when you see knotted rack weed. The subtidal zone is where you swim.
I didn't see anything because I never went tidepooling but I did see a slice of watermelon floating in the water
I think the sub tidal zone has the most varitey and why is because it has all types of different fishs and species like sharks like a great white shark and hammerhead bull an all that good stuff. then there are different fishs like orl fish striped bass plus the black bass
