Tides are interesting because with just the power of wind the tide moves up and down in different periods of time When we were at odiorne point we saw the tide down and basically it is where the water is shallow. The water moved back and it was weird to see. Tidal waves are pretty much just big waves in the tide which can happen often but we didn’t see that there because they are caused by underwater earthquakes or volcanoes.Those are not the same as tides.

This is where your other paragraphs go... On the shore between high and low tide lies the intertidal zone, where land and sea meet. The intertidal zone is underwater during high tide and exposed to air during low tide. Ecosystems that live in this zone learn to live with being submerged in water and then being exposed to air soon later. maybe have some links...
