Day 3
On day three we did many things, though the weather
was in harsh conditions for hiking, but luckily that
wasn't the plan for day 3. Instead of hiking, did a
tree auction, and designed our own trees, then we
learned about compases and how to use them to locate
certain things. After to test our skills we played a
game called the mystery of the trees. To play this
game we had to use our compass skills, and with clues
figure out which direction and how many steps for
example: 72 degrees north, 38 steps. We had about
10-12 clues and in the end it led us to an old car
and ski pull. It was very exciting once we finally
found the car and ski pull.
On day three I saw many examples of human environment interaction. There was harsh rain at the beginning of the day, but luckily we were not planning on a long hike that day, this showed human environment interaction because the rain made the activities a little bit more challenging and we affected the environment because we drove in a bus to get there and we stepped on nature when we were doing the mystery of the trees activity, where we were assigned different locations on our Gpsś and used them to find them as a group. At the end there was a car which looked like it had been there for years and may have stopped a tree from growing.
