We went to Odiorne Point by bus and when we got there we walked along the sidewalk and went to picnic taples and dropped off all of our stuff after we dropped all of our stuff off we walked on the rocks towards the water. Some people stayed on the grass and played wiffle ball and football. We all ate lunch while we were there and then went back to playing games. After a while we went back onto the bus to go back to the school but on the way back to school we stopped to get ice cream. Then we finally got back to the school after having a super fun day.
The tides change because of the moon and how it pulls the water towards it. Then when it stops pulling it the water goes to a different part of the Earth. The tides change about every 6 hours. Thats how the tides change on the earth.
The first tidal zone is the black zone which is the zone that gets the least amount of water on it because it is just below the dry zone. The black zone also has Cyanobacteria. The second zone is the white zone which has a lot of barnicles on the rocks. The third zone is the Brown zone which has a lot of rock weed and knotted wrack that is on the rocks and on the side of the rocks. The fourth zone is the Red zone which has all of the things that is on all of the other zones like barniles and knotted wrack and rock weed and irish moss.
