I ran into the bus. Making sure I got a seat close to Miles and James which were sitting together. When we got to Ordiorne Point, I was sleepy. We then were set free, I was still putting on sun screen. We first were on the right side. Trying to find crabs. But found a lot more on the left side. And made a crab competiiton, but they were sitting in shade. We got called up to launch, and then played football. We then got Ice cream. Then we went back.

Tide pools are areas where the sea level changes daily. The moon controls tide pools. When a coast is closer to the moon, It has a high tide. When the coast is away from the moon, it becomes low tide.

First, we have the black zone, the black zone is the farthest from the coast. It is called that because it is covered in algae. There is little to no life in this zone at low tides. Next, we have the white zone. It still has the black algae but a ton of barnacles. Barnacles start as active moving creatures when young. But sticks to rocks and hardens when older. The water comes in, leafy back legs come out.Next, we have the brown zone. The Brown zone is filled with life and a lot of kelp. The kelp gives the zone its name. Things like crabs, tiny fishes, and more and be found in these areas. Finally, we have the red zone. The final and closest to the sea. It's always partially filled at least with water. Its known for Irish Moss, which makes most of the rocks red. Hence the name. This zone is filled with the most life. The water is atleast foot deep.

What I saw were many crabs, As I was crab hunting. I also saw a weird, centipede-like organism. I’m not sure what it was exactly. I found some very tiny shrimps that swam very fast. There was a ton of barnicles, and kelp.

I thought that the red zone had the most life. Simply by the amount of crabs I saw. But if you took time to look, there was lots of life. The shrimp I saw, the weird thing I saw. Sea urchins, and a lot of barnicles. The guarented foot deep water makes it safe for a lot of organisms.
