Wenesday,Day One at Cardigan

By Indy M.September 19th, 2021

Even before I reached Mt.Cardigan, we were hanging out and having fun. I was checking out the old classic family camera. The old 14.7 megapixels, the slow charging flash, and the battery spazzing-out. This camera has gone through what felt like generations, it has climbed more mountains than me. But it gave the distinctive, nostalgic look and my sister's old photos were still laying away dormant . This was my inspiration for my familys traditions to come back after all these years.

When we got on the bus we went not right but left. I never went this way or just forgot about it. And the way there was awesome, but a wholesome drive. I saw the town of Alexandria and what seems to have been a dried-out dam. After we passed all of that, we entered the hilly backroads and eventually the AMC lodge of Mt.Cardigan.

After playing some games, checking our gear and meeting our groups we hiked on the back 80s trail. we went through vast streams and aperences, making sure we see the blazes that mark the trail. We had lunch on a massive stream, and walked on a dirt road. We even saw a water fall during the end of the hike. This is the theme of movement. Movement is the theme of here to there and is a part of MR.HELP.

Here is the link for Monday, day two. Or, here is the link back to the Main page.
