Day 3 of Cardigan

Day 3, which was Tuesday, of our Cardigan trip was a fun, relaxed short day. We started and gave up on a scavenger hunt that involved learning how to use a compass. Then we went for a nature walk and we played teamwork games. On our nature walk we saw pretty fungus on a tree, a small river and purple mushrooms. There were planking and trail markers on our nature walk and we passed a dam which are all human/environment interaction. That means both those things were done by humans and it impacted the environment. We had a snack by a small pond which connected to the small river that we saw on our nature walk. By the pond we saw dragonflies, a beetle and a white noodle thing in the water. We also got to look at a newt in the pond. Then we went to the field next to the Cardigan AMC Lodge and hung out there. Then we were back on the bus and going home.
