On day 2 I remember when we ate lunch. We had an amazing view. I was eating a salami sandwich and we were talking about video games. We stayed there for a while because it took us a long while to get up there. Also we were tired. But the view got even better the farther we got up. At one point It kept feeling like we got to the top but we didn’t. When we got to the top we had a whole 360 degree view of everything. It was very beautiful and Josh almost cried. When we eventually started descending we ran into the other group. It was pretty funny. Then we reached the summit of firescrew, the mountain next to Cardigan. Then we played a bidding game. After that we started descending again and we got to this part which was very hard to go down.
When on the trail students from HMHS carried rocks from the bottom of the mountain. When they got to the top they decided to stack all of the rocks and make a Cairn. This is a good example of Movement because Cairn’s originated in Scotland and made its way around the world. While on the trail we told a lot of jokes which also is a good example of movement because jokes originated in Greece.
