Gravity is what makes the seas have low and high tides. The water pulses on the earth going out a little wich makes it high tide, and the going down making it low tide. Every 6 hours the tide goes from low to high or the other way around. .
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first zone is the black zone. Also known as the splash zone. It is the highest up of the zones and is called the splash zone because the tide hits it very shortly then goes back down.
The second zone is the white zone. It is called the white zone because it has lots of barnacles and little seaweed.
The zone after that is called the brown zone. It is called this because of the growing amounts of seaweed like knotted wrack and rock weed. Making it appear green or brown.
The last zone before the Subtidal zone is called the red zone due to lots of sea algae and plants like irish moss, rock weed, knotted wrack, and more.

I saw sea urchines and sea stars. I saw a LOT of snails everywhere and SO MUCH sea weed. I saw Irish moss, Rock Weed, Knotted Rack, barnicles, and plain rocks of course. I saw a crab but I smushed it, I aslo saw hermit crabs that were harder to smush. I saw mr.Woolner slip and fall into the water and I saw the drowned forest with old tree stumps.
