It was my last day of my cardigan trip. I woke up at the same time as the last 2 days and went to the high school to take the bus. I got on the bus again and sat with some of my friends. When we arrived, my group did an activity with compasses and mapped out the lawn of the cabin. Then we went on a nature walk that was only 0.9 miles. I had my Cross country uniform on because after the day at Cardigan I would have my first cross country meet. My counselor Tom remarked that the nature walk we were on would be a great Cross country course. When we were done with our walk we went back to the cabin and we met some other groups to play 500 again with a soccer ball. Then the whole class left early around 1:00. While on the bus I got to take off my hiking boots that were bugging me all day. I was tired but excited for the afternoon.

Theme of Day 3:

Movement

The theme of geography for my day 3 at Cardigan mountain is Movement. I think this because me, my classmates, and my teachers/chaperones all took a bus from our school to Cardigan AMC lodge. Also that day me and a few of my fellow cross country runners had to take another long bus ride to a meet we had later that day. This was also the last day my group would be making the hour long bus ride to cardigan mountain in the morning. Another thing to add is the movement of the water in the streams, lakes, ponds, and puddles. When we went on our nature walk we walked by a stream with MOVING water.
