My Day 3 At Mount Cardigan

In the morning, we left on the bus to go to the AMC Lodge for one last time. This day was much shorter because this time we were leaving Cardigan around 1:00 P.M., so that we could get back to the school around 2:00 P.M.. Once again, we sang the same songs on the bus while we were riding to the lodge, and everyone was having a good time.

It was pouring rain on this day, and once we had gotten to the lodge and into our groups, we began to hike under the canopies of trees. We played a Scavenger Hunt game, where we had to read the clues and find the location of where they were showing. We learned a lot about trees while doing this. After that, we had lunch, and then hiked up the hill, wet and cold. When we got to the top, we found another group up there, sitting next to a very old, rusty car. There was also an old ski lift along with the car. We didn’t do much after that, and just walked around some more, and then headed back to the lodge.

After the groups had all arrived back, we said a final goodbye to the AMC workers, and then left on the bus, singing once again on the ride back. All in all, a short but fun day.

Human/Environment Interactions

A potential theme for this paragraph could be Human/Environment Interactions because up on the hill, humans built that old ski lift, and a long time ago, drove and parked that old, rusty car up there, where it was left to rust to an ancient time. The environment changed us humans as well because on the day where it was pouring rain, we had to wear more rain gear, thanks to the ongoing downpour.
