Day2. On day two I woke up at around 5 in the morning. I got ready for the day, and by the time I was done, it was 6:30 already. My group had to set the table that day, so the timing worked out perfectly.

After breakfast, we met up with our hiking groups to make our lunch, we had sandwiches. There were a lot of ingredients that must have been farmed by people nearby. About an hour later, when everyone was ready, we set off to make it to the summit of Cardigan. But first had to make it up Firescrew.

One example of human-environment interaction was to see all the trails people had made, even though I hated the hike to Firescrew. After we made it to the top of Firescrew, our hike to Cardigan started. Cardigan wasn’t as hard, because we took a trail that leads halfway up the summit already.

Finally, we made it up to the summit, where we ate lunch drew sketches of the view. When we got to the top we noticed that all the trees were gone, from when people burned the top of Cardigan to mark it as theirs. By the time we made it back to the AMC lodge, it was almost night, and after an hour of free time, it was. But the best part of the night by far was the campfire.
