Cardigan mountain is located at 43.38584 N and 71.54509 W and 3,155 ft above sea level in the towns Orange and Alexandria. One of the nearby towns is Groton. Nearby, is Newfound lake. There is a tower at the top. There is an AMC lodge not too far away
Cardigan mountain is located nearby is a green luscious forest. Also nearby is Mt.Firescrew. On top of cardigan is a tower. The peak of cardigan is in two towns, Orange and Alexandreia. As well as the fact that the trees in the area, and there are plenty of them, are of many types. That consists of, Sugar Maple, White ash, Beach, White pine, Birch, and many more. Also, the terrain comprises of, some flat and some steep but most of it is a small to medium incline.
The top of the mountain is bare rock, with a single tower on it. There used to be trees up there, but they were burned in order to scare away some wolves that lived in the nearby area. also , near the top, there are few trees and some lichen and a great view. In the distance, is some lakes and mountains all covered in trees.
