Place - Cardigan Mountain
Physical~ Mount Cardigan’s summit is a rocky area with a minimum amount of trees or plants surrounding it. As you get to the top of the mountain the view is spectacular from the trees turning their color as winter on its way and the view to see other mountains, windmills, and even the Cardigan Lodge. The mountain is rocky, steep, and with a stream flowing down it from the snow or rain that has been at the top. These physical features make the mountain a mountain.
Cultural~ Millions of people hike or ski Mount Cardigan a year. With its amazing skiing trails and its incredible hiking routes, people enjoy hiking up to the top of Cardigan for the views. People go up Cardigan or Firescrew Mt. and once they get to a part with rocks surrounding them they make cairns (a stack of rocks). They make cairns because it shows ownership to the person who’s hiking the mountain. Some variety of people make cairns to say to people that you did it! you made it up the mountain! Cultural makes everything valuable because of people that use it and cultural make physical things happen.
We were there for three days. On the first day we went to a waterfall. Second day we hiked Cardigan mountain. Then third day played games.
