Region

Mt. Cardigan has a bare rocky summit on the western side of the state of New Hampshire, in the New England region of the United States. The New England region includes six states; New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut. The New England Region is in the Northeastern section of the United States.

There are different regions on the mountain itself. Near the top, the region there had trees like the White Ash that only grows at the top part of the mountain, not all over. The temperature, amount of sunlight, and amount of water all affect the types of trees that grow in different parts of the mountain. Another region on the mountain was the boreal forest that included trees like pine, fir, spruce and birch.
