There are multiple ways to hike Mt Cardigan, you can hike fire screw and then make your way to cardigan, or you can just hike Mt. Cardigan. If you take the hike up fire screw and then Mt. Cardigan, it likely won’t be for beginners. When you go down the mountain you would take just cardigan mountain instead of taking both firescrew and Cardigan Mountain. You may encounter wild life on the hike up Mt. Cardigan, if you do, you are advised to leave it as it is and don’t ruin the experience for future hikers.
When you get to the top, the clouds move faster because of how high up you are. At the top the view is explicit because Mt. Cardigan is the biggest mountain compared to all the other mountains around it. On the rocky top of the mountain there is a fire tower. The Mountain is much more rocky as you get higher up. When you climb fire screw you can see the fire tower on the top of Mt. Cardigan. Hikers can have lunch on the top as they enjoy the view, as you get higher up the trees start disappearing or turning into conifers. After hiking and hiking you get to top, and you realize that it was all worth it.
