My Cardigan Experience

The AMC Mount Cardigan lodge Is at North 43 Degrees, 38 Minutes, and 59.5 Seconds, West 071 Degrees, 52 Minutes, 41.4 Seconds. For a more simple explanation, Mount Cardigan is just on the border of Alexandria New Hampshire and Orange New Hampshire about an hour north of Hopkinton New Hampshire. It is east of the Vermont New Hampshire border. Even though it is pretty far from mpst of the main locations in the state I would still recommend the drive to this

Cultural Place

The AMC Mount Cardigan lodge will treat you with unbeatable kindness and amazing foods. You will endure through multiple different hikes and after warm up by the fire with hot chocolate. The meals are always more unique than the last leaving you with immense energy in the morning and the perfect amount of energy before you go to bed. This cabin has quiet hours so you will be able to sleep during the 9 hours. If you want to come on a trip here I would strongly recommend it.

Physical Place

Mount Cardigan is an easier hike for most people. From the base of the mountain, you will endure an elevation climb of about 2,000 feet. The hike its self is only about 2.8 miles. At the top of the mountain you have three different choices on what you want to do for the hike down. You could choose to start down the way you came, you could go down a separate trail to reach the AMC hut, or you could hike down about 0.4 miles to the summit of firescrew. Firescrew normally has a better view on cloudy days than cardigan does because it is lower in the sky. But either way, I would suggest going to hike this mountain.
