Location of Cardigan
Mount Cardigan is North of Hopkinton and the peak is (not consistent) 3146ft. Latitude is 43.64’94’’79. Longitude is -71.87’79’’47. Mount Cardigan is North of Hopkinton in Orange New Hampshire. Surrounded by many cities and towns like Alexandrea,Danburry, Grafton, Cannan, Dorchester, Groton, and Hebron N.H.
Place of Cardigan
Cadigan has many trees but the top is covered in bedrock. There is a stream running down cardigan and a little pool of water on the peak. There are trails that go all the way around the mountain. Also there are some ski trails going up and down the mountain. A large fire tower is at the peak of Cardigan.
Going up the mountain we found some “stairs” made of roots. There is a waterfall on the right of Cardigan “if you are facing the lodge”. A large dam can be found on one of the nature trails. Quite a few rivers are found all around Mount Cardigan and near the waterfall.
We stayed at cardigan for 3 days. Sunday we got there.Day 1 Monday we went on the big hike.Day 2 Tuesday we left.Day 3
