Friday Day 3 On the third and last day we woke up and got ready for breakfast which was french toast. After breakfast we got prepared for our day. On this day we only took a short hike around a nature trail. Before we even got into the woods there was a bridge over a stream. I first crossed to bridge on the side little rail and Dan followed. But after he fell into the stream we found out that he doesn’t have the greatest balance. This is human environmental interaction because the cold water took his breath (and glasses) away in one small second. After Dan changed and was ready to come back on the walk with us we were off. While we were walking we came up on a dam where we stopped to measure pH. After measuring the pH we hiked for a while and ate some snacks. On our way back on the loop trail we played camouflage and went back to the lodge and ate lunch at the pond after lunch we went back to the stream to see if we could find any macroinvertebrates. As we found them we were in interaction with the wildlife and changing it by taking some of its macroinvertebrates out of the stream. At the end of our time at Cardigan we were all happy to see the bus rolling up to the lodge so we could leave. On the bus ride it got a little bit crazy but that is a story for another time.
