Day 3 at Cardigan
On the final day, we were planning on doing a nature walk. Like the previous day we slept in… again, but we had enough time before breakfast. We had our last breakfast at the lodge then packed our things, put it in Mr. Woolners trailer, with the exception of the things we needed for the day, and went down to meet our leaders.
After we met up, we headed on a simple little nature walk, and to a little stream. We spent a lot of time at the stream. We drew some sketches with Mrs. Baroody, and explored the stream freely for majority of the time. We looked at insects, and even little tiny creatures with Mrs. Baroody. We identified them, and even sketched a few. We tried our best all trip but especially today to try not to affect their habitats too much. Even though not all human environment is bad, there is definitely some that harm creatures and nature. It was cool to see all the erosion along the banks of the river too. We stayed and had lunch there, then began our way back down to the lodge.
We didn't go too far away from the lodge, so it was a short walk back. We then waited for the bus to arrive. had packed all of our things after breakfast so when we got back we mostly just hung out until the bus came. It was a really fun trip at Cardigan mountain.
