D1 B4 Green Group
We woke around 6:30 again on the third day, and got ready, then went down for breakfast. That morning we had eggs and bacon. After that everyone went up stairs and packed all of our stuff, and then put it all in the trailer. We then got into our hiking groups and went outside for our last hike. We went down the nature walk, and then studied some leaves. After that we learned how to properly use a compass. We then got handed a booklet full of instructions and a compass. We went on a scavenger hunt, learning things about trees, and different plants along the way. We even learned about an old rock wall, and how squirrels would burrow into them, leave behind nuts and trees would go along the wall. After the walk at around 11:00 we went to a stream and ate lunch on the bridge.
Once we were done eating, we went back to the lodge, said thank your and goodbye to our amc leaders, and got back on the bus to go back to school and then get picked up. The bus is a good example of movement because it took us from the lodge all the way back to the school. Another reason it's a good example is because we were all moving on the bus, moving around in our seat, our mouths were using (a lot). On the bus I was on, mainly the boys, had a cheese fight which resulted in a water fight, and water was being splashed all around the bus, this is a good example ebacsue all the food was moving around the bus. Once we all got back to the school we talked to each other about the bus ride, and what we did at cardigan, which is a good example because that's ideas, our trip, moving from one place, cardigan, to another school. The final example is the GPS we used, they went from the school, to cardigan, up the mountain with us, then from cardigan to the school.Back at the school we unloaded the trailer and waited for our parents to pick us up to go home.
