PLACE Mt. cardigan is a mountain in alexandria NH. It is about 1 hour and 4 minutes away from hopkinton NH. The mountain is about 3155 feet above sea level and has 2 types of forests. There is a group that when schools come up they help them out and help you. And the lodge we stayed at is called the A.M.C lodge it was a nice lodge and had plenty of room and nice people.
Location It is located in bristol NH. it takes about 50 minutes to get there from near newfound lake. It takes 1 hour and 5 minutes from hopkinton nh to the AMC lodge in bristol. It takes about 4 and 30 minutes to hike it. And it is 3 miles to get up to the top of the moutian.
The coordnates of mt cardigan which is partley in Orange and partley in Bristol NH 43.6498° N, 71.9148° W.
Cutral geography. People did quite a bit of things to mt cardigan. Like the top of mt cardigan there use to be all trees but now there not because people started the fire and burnt down all the trees. So now its just bare rocks at the top.
Physical There are 3 regions and the first region has mostly disidious but not all. And as you get higher up the moutian us see lesstrees but more. But there was more berch with a lot of moss. The alpine zone has like all the floor of the ground was covered in moss.
We were atcardigan starting at wendesday october 2 , october 3, october 4 was are last day at mount cardigan.
