Cardigan
Mr Woolner woke us up and we packed up our stuff. Then went downstairs to have some breakfast and we had hot cocoa and apple cider with breakfast. We then went upstairs and got changed, put our luggage outside near the trailer and went on a hike. On the hike we saw a red back salamander and ate our sandwiches. And of course we ate some Indian Cucumber. Then we did sketches of the bridge where they were doing a stream study. While we were on the hike we saw an old stone wall that had a bunch of moss on it. We headed back to the lodge and went to the pond to catch some water bugs. Anika and Emily caught a dragonfly nymph. Ryan got stung by a yellow jacket twice and so did our educator. Me, Anika and Emily ran away screaming. The nurse came and put some stuff on Ryan and our educator’s stings. Then we studied our bugs that we caught. Some of the bugs were beetle like things and others were more centipede like. We took a break and had some snack. We went back to our studies and put the bugs back in the pond. Then we put the rest of our stuff in our luggage and played the rock, stick and leaf game. Then we went home on the bus.
