Our First Day of Cardigan On our first day of Cardigan, we loaded up the bus with children adn Mr.Woolner's trailer with all of our luggage and headed off to Cardigan Mountain. the bus and the trailer is an example of movement. We had lots of fun getting to know the educators, hiking to Welton Falls and exploring the camp where we would all be staying for the next three days. The first thing we did when we got there was meet on the lawn and play some group games like Alaskan Baseball. While we were still on the lawn, we ate lunch on out bankets. When lunch was over we gathered our stuff and were told to head to our bunks and get changed to hike.

Hiking was super fun and before we left we had to be told our groups. I was in the group called “Garry and the Trail snails.” We sketched at least 10 times and had snacks along the way. After all the hiking, we really were tired. We had break time, and I took a nice warm shower. Dinner was very fun because it was my groups turn to set the table. The dinner was spaghetti, salad and garlic bread and dessert was some moshed banana with chocolate chips. When the educators announced that we will have a night time activity, everyone was very excited. They lead us outside with blind folds and all held onto eachothers shoulders. They catapillar swirled through the woods and back to the front lawn where we star gazed in the freezing cold but were able to grab a glimps of a shooting star. It relaxed us for the blackbeard story which none the less perked us right back up and then we headed up to bed. Bed time was a 10:00 but we didn’t actually fall asleep till 1:00, at least in my bunk we didn’t.
