DAY TWO

DAY TWO

We got up today prepared for our big hike ahead of us climbing 2,000 feet of elevation, we went down for breakfast we had cold eggs, bacon, hash browns and more. We got in our hiking gear and hiking packs on and went to go find our groups. Which brings us to an example of movement which the description for that is, people, things and ideas move across the earth. For example we had to move quickly to make it to the sandwich area to make ourselves lunch. And another example us moving to go to cardigan. And even one of the cooks at cardigan had to move to get to work everyday. There was also a car on cardigan witch was not always there so its shows movement. To add information we also saw grasshoppers and butterflies migrating or in other words moving. We had to make a lunch before we could leave so we went to the sandwich bar and I made a PB&J sandwich. We got back to our groups and made sure we had everything.

We set off on our adventure to the top, our route was climbing Firestone and then going down and up to cardigan. When we made it up finally after tones of “parkour” we felt accomplished as we ate our sandwiches and M&Ms at the top! We ate our lunch looking upon a beautiful view of the mountains and the ski which is an example of location, to back up my statement it is location because we were located on a mountain. We then took a photo ( I was not looking at the camera ). We watched amelia's water bottle slowly roll down the side of cardigan and a different region of cardigan (we got it back). Then we headed back down a steep path.

We made it back soon and exhausted as we could ever be went up to our bunk rooms de-layered and went down to have dinner, tacos that made everyone’s stomachs hurt. After that we showers and went down for another story. This was the last night at cardigan. We went up to go to bed laid down for a while when Mrs. Roberts came in with even more candy then yesterday! We got handfuls of sweetish fish and even more packs of candy, I hid my stash under my pillow. We went to bed with stomachs hurting from tacos and most likely candy overload. Overall today was a great day full of seeing many examples of the five themes of geography.
