On day one, we had lunch soon after arriving. About 20 minutes after finishing we set out to Welton falls. During the hike we stopped and played a game with our instructor, Emily. This is a game where you hide a pencil and other people try to find it. We played for a few rounds then continued on our way. Soon after we got the falls and took in the beautiful view, there was a large drop from the cliff to the water, so some fences had to keep humans from falling down. At the end of the Welton falls there were some signs warning against going past beacuase there were dangerous snakes ahead, we had to head back after that. After Welton falls we headed back and had dinner. With dinner eaten my group headed out in the dark and would draw with a colored pencil, guess what color it was, then next day check if we got it right. Overall, day one was a very good day.
