Day 2 at Cardigan paragraph
The second day at Cardigan was packed with activities and lots of different reigons. We hiked for almost the whole day and it was very tiring! In the morning we woke up early in our beds in the Cardigan lodge region. By 8:00, we were out the door and starting to hike up Mt. Cardigan.That was in the AMC Cardigan forest region.
When we started hiking, we were in the northern hardwood forest region, which means that there were more dicidous trees than evergreen. We got up to PJ ledge and then had some lunch. At PJ ledge, the forest turned into a boreal forest region, which is more evergreen By the time we reached the summit of Cardigan, we already had to go back down so we sadly did not get to go into the Mt. Firescrew region.
We got back down to the lodge at around 4:30 and then had a free hour. Finally, dinner was served; a yummy buffet of sloppy joes and beans. At night we listened to Mr. Woolner read us some pirate stories. At last, we settled into bed, tired from a long day of hiking. During the day, we spent a lot of time in these many different regions.
