Day 1 at Cardigan
The first day at Cardigan was fun. We were also effected a lot by the environment, causing human environment interaction. In the morning, we took the bus to the lodge and put our stuff in our rooms. Then we played some games in the yard to get to know the instructors.
After we had gotten to know everyone, we met our instructors and had lunch. We also went on a short walk to Welton Falls. We took a lot of sketches, and got back around 4:45. Then we had an hour of free time to get unpacked and hang out in the cozy corner. Dinner was a yummy lasagna and mac-n-cheese buffet.
After we were done with dinner, we all walked outside with our hiking groups. It was very dark, and there was lots of tripping and falling involved. This was because of how the environment made us act differently, having to do with human environment interaction. If the environment had not been so dark, we wouldn’t have had to hold onto each other so we would not fall into the river. There were also a few spooky stories told with a flashlight. When we finally emerged from the darkness, we got into our bed to get ready to fall asleep to get energy for the next big day ahead of us.
