Location

Mt. Cardigan is located in Orange, Nh, USA. Well it’s more west of Orange. It is also southeast of Orange Pond and Tewksbury Pond. Cardigan is a little weird and it actually has a rock only top. It has a fire tower at the top as well. And the lat is 43.646046 degrees and the lon is -71.904870 and finally the elevation is 2193 ft!

Place

Cultural

Cardigan is a good place for Cultural Geography!. An example of this is the fire tower at the top of the summit. Mt Cardigan is also one of the only mountains in New Hampshire that has a rocky top. This is because of a fire that happened in 1855. Many people go to Cardigan because of the view and all of the markings. There are carvings on top of the mountain that have been there for a while.

Physical

Cardigan is, well, a mountain. It has a rocky top because of a fire. There are marshes and so many different types of trees. There are two different categories trees fit in to. One is called deciduous another called coniferous. The higher up you go you can notice that there are more coniferous trees there are.

We were there for three days. Day 1 we saw a waterfall and played a night game. Day 2 we hiked the mountain and saw two shooting stars. Finally on Day 3 we did our final hike then we finally home.
