Day 3

Day 3 Our day three at Cardigan was short but quite interesting. We woke up and went downstairs to set the table and eat breakfast. We then made sandwiches for our lunch and started to head out the door. We got outside and went down to the pond across from the lodge so we could do a water study. The pond was a man-made creation that people loved to use for swimming, skating, fishing, bathing, etc. In our time at the pond, we found many different species and did a pH test of the water. After we finished that, we set out on a 0.5-mile loop of a hike to identify trees. Each one of us had to identify our two trees on the card so we did. We crossed many bridges that were made by people years ago all throughout every trail. After that, we ate lunch and came back to the lodge and that's where we got on the bus to go home.
