Day One
On the first day I woke up and went to school. then we put our stuff in Mr. Woolers car and we went to Cardigan. We got to meet our guide Killian and we got to play a few games and then we started twourds the trail before we started the hike we piked leaders to lead the hike. Then we picked people to hold the maps and to work with the leaders. Then we started the hike.
We told stories as we hiked. We learned that an invasive species is destroying all the Hemlock trees. A theme of geography is Movement. We got there and back on a bus. We had to walk around and birds were moving around which are examples of Movement. Our guild was from Oregon which is an example of movement. Another example movement are ideas, and at the top of Cardigan there were cairns which is an idea from Scotland. As we walked we got to go off trail and go to a small stream. We had lunch right next to it and it was fun dumping our heads in it We got the opportunity to take a plot study. After we got back on the trail and went to Welton Falls. Once we got to Welton Falls we stopped in a cool little cave. after we hiked back and went to bed.
