The Twenty-Ninth Day of September Through October Oneth, in the Year of Our Gourd Two Thousand and Nineteen
Movement
When our class arrived at The AMC Lodge, The first thing we did was played some games, some of the games we obtained from other countries and some we thought of ourselves, this is an example of movement one idea or object coming to another mind or population. After that we went on a small hike and saw animals such as a black bear cub and a small snake, animals move all the time and go from one place to another to make their home, this is another example of movement. As one walks on the trail they will likely notice that it is man made. During the summer or fall, the AMC Lodge holds seasonal activities one of which is constructing different trails around the area. Students from different high schools can build all sorts of trails using materials such as dirt, stones, and wood in order to make hikers feel at home. When our group returned from the trail, we feasted on spaghetti and garlic bread which originated from Italy, another example of movement! The AMC Lodge encourages hikers not to waste food, but when they don’t workers send leftovers to a local farm for pigs to eat the food. Shortly after eating we gazed at constellations as our counsellor told us the story of the fischer which is about a boy whose world is only snow and cold and only the people that live in the sky have all the heat, but with his friends help they climbed up Mt Washington the tallest mountain back then, and cut a hole in the sky to help the heat leak through thus creating summer.
