At the start of the trail on the mighty journey up to mt Cardigan had so many hills that we would walk up one part of a hill then go down to flat lands and do the same about 30 feet later. So the hills were very close which made it harder for us. Then, the higher we went, the harder it was. Just going up the hills and climbing over rocks. You could tell that over time the rocks would fall and get to the one part of the mountain where it was flat then as we got to the boreal section of the mountain there was a lot of broken down trees and rocks began to look bigger. Then the higher up the mountain the trees started to bend over because of the wind speeds. You could see that the speeds were so high that they blew over a couple of small trees and a couple of big trees which did actually get in the way of the trail which made it that much harder for us. Then we went back to the AMC Lodge and there was a trail that they said that they did not make and me and a couple of friends wanted to go on but they said no because they did not know what was on the end of the trail. The trip was very cool and saw some very cool things and some things that nobody knew about and we were the first to discover. Which is really awesome for me.
