Green Group
On the first day of Cardigan we learned all about the way we are supposed to hike, and stay in our groups and listen at all costs. When we were all done learning about the rules on hiking we got ready to go on our first hike. Then we got all of our gear on, picked out some group snacks so we could do our breaks, went out to the top of the trail.
It was a very very small path way so Mr.Garrett said that we have to make groups and name us peanut butter, jelly, and bread. At the start, we started to see most of the trees fold over us so we could look up and see how pretty the leaves are, and there were so many different signs on the trees so we could follow the pathways and not get lost in the middle of the trail. When we got half way through the trail we started to see tons of roots so there began to be more trees and because they started to make the rocks the way that they wanted so sense they put so much time in doing that one particular thing, they did not have any time to handle the roots for us. So day 1 was a very fun to go on those trails and get a real feel for tough trails.
