Day 1 of The Greatest Trip

Day 1 We left at 8:30 and got to the AMC lodge at about 10:00. As soon as we got there, we met our counselors for our hike. They were calling our names and I heard mine, I looked over and I was in Garret's group. I cheer in my head because the guy seemed nice and energetic. Then we played a game which I forgot what it was called but its when you are an animal and you play rock, paper, scissors and you find a person who is the same animal as you. if you win you move on to another animal thats stronger and bigger and if you win and win, you win the game. Anyways after that we split up in our groups and sit down for our lunch. When we finished lunch we discussed where we should head too. After we made a decision, we headed to Welton Falls. We started our trip when it was raining, a great start to the day but shortly after, it stopped. As we were hiking we found a lot of really cool spots so we stopped and started sketching the places around us. Each time when it happend though, people in my group started to kick the trees and breaking branches. After when it got to crazy, We got jobs like to leave no trace and Wam meaning each time we called "Wam!" it meant to find a flat area and have a water break. Leave no Trace means to leave the environment alone. One of our thing is "if you dont leave the environment alone, the environment won't leave you alnoe." then the day after the environment rained on everybody. anyways as we were hiking we sketched the area and as we saw our destination everybody looked like there mind exploded. The veiw was so nice we couldn't stand it. After when we went back to the lodge to have a break for a hour, then we would have dinner then after that we went to bed.
