Adventures at Cardigan Day 2

Day 2: On day 2 of being at cardigan we first woke up at around 6:20am and then went to eat breakfast. After breakfast was over we went to go and get ready for hiking Firescrew and Mount Cardigan. When everyone was ready we had to go downstairs and get our boots and then head outside to meet up with our AMC leader. Once everyone was in their groups we played a quick game and then started to hike. We were using Movement at this time by walking in a big group of people and going up the mountain and climbing at some points. Also when Mr. Woolner taught us about the wood sorrel and when Garrett taught us about the mountain and how he had only climbed it once. During the hike up to Firescrew we took lots of sketches and saw lots of nature. By the time we had made it up to Firescrew it was time for lunch so we had lunch on the peak of the mountain.Sadly though we didn’t get to make it to Mt. Cardigan because some people didn’t want to and they wanted to head back to the lodge so that's what we did. Once we had made it back to the lodge it was once again time for free time and we had some extra time because we made it back earlier than the day before. And then at around 5:30pm it was time to have dinner and then have stories again. So after dinner we went back to our rooms and got ready for bed but before we went to bed we got to listen to Mr. Woolner read us some more stories. And after all the stories were done it was time to go back upstairs to bed.
