Adventures at Cardigan Day 1

Day 1: On Day one of being at Cardigan we first got off the bus and circled up to play a game. After that we went inside to drop our bags off and locate our rooms. When that was done we were required to go back outside so we could be put into groups. Once we were put into groups we ate lunch and then started to head to Welton falls. There were lot’s of regions when we were walking to welton falls, like for example when we had seen all of that erosion at one stop and we sketched it. We also had seen region when we saw some campsites and where in other places there weren’t campsites. My group leader was Garret and we were the second group to make it to Welton Falls. Once we had made it to Welton Falls two people at a time got to go to the fence and look over. Also while we were there we sketched the falls and took the Latitude and Longitude. After we had made it back to the lodge we had 1 hour of free time and then it was dinner. During freetime I had played some soccer and spike ball. Once freetime was over it was time for dinner and for dinner we had to get as least food waste as we can. We had gotten a ½ pound and easily beat the other kids by a whole pound. Finally once we were done with dinner we had to clean up and get ready for some stories with Mr. Woolner. After he had finished reading us the stories it was time for bed.
