Place
Cardigan Mountain is a large mountain that is 3,156 feet tall. On the lower half of Cardigan, the trees are large, tall and most common trees like Birch, Maple, etc. There are also lots of small streams, creeks or even small rivers. As you hike up higher the amount of evergreen trees increase, and there are no rivers but there some very small creeks that flow down the moutain.
Cardigan Mountain also has a Fire tower at the top. The top looks the ways it does because the top got burnt down and then there were no roots holding the soil together so all the soil ran down the mountain. The trails at Cardigan are also a big part of what cardigan is, the trails are made, and used by people all year round.
We were at Cardigan Moutain for three days. The first day was Wednesday, Oct 2, 2019, that was the day we arrived, the second day was Thursday, Oct 3, 2019, that was the day we hiked Cardigan, and the third day was Friday, Oct 4, 2019, that was the day we left, sadly.
